Users often start worrying about their data when the phone is stolen or lost. Here we are going to tell some such steps, with the help of which we can easily find the lost or stolen smartphone.

Android users have the Find My Device feature, while Apple users have the Find My Phone feature. This feature tracks the places and places where we have been.

We can find our smartphone with the help of Google Maps

To find the lost Android smartphone with the help of Google Maps, we have to follow the necessary steps. For this, first of all we should have a mobile, laptop or computer which has internet connectivity and we should remember our Gmail account ID and password. First you have to type www.maps.google.co.in on Google. After this Google Maps will open, here we have to enter the Google ID which was linked to our lost smartphone. After the ID is signed-in 3 dots will appear on the top right side, click on it. After this we will see the 'Your timeline' option. After selecting your timeline option, we have to enter the year, month and day on which we want to see the location history. After entering all the information our location history will be visible over time. This feature can be used in Google Maps present in any Android phone. The same ID has to be signed in Google Maps which was linked to our mobile. The way to use this feature in the handset is also the same. This feature will work properly only when our mobile and the location service feature present in it is on.
